Today in this 2008 Chevy Cobalt we are going to be installing the tow ready T1 connector part number 118407. First, well need to access the rear cargo area. Next, we are going to go ahead and remove the spare tire cover. Now, well need to get access to the wiring behind the taillights. To do this there are two cargo hooks on both sides that will need to be removed. With the cargo hook out of the way, we can go ached and pull the carpeting back to gain access to the rear taillight wiring. more

Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt well be installing the Tow-Ready T1 connector part number 118407. After opening our trunk, well go ahead and remove the carpeting exposing the battery and the spare tire well. Now with the carpet removed, we can go ahead and unscrew the two clips that would hold a cargo net on either side. With those undone, we can then peel the carpet back here on the passenger side. With the carpet peeled back, well expose the connector here at the back of the taillight. We can then unplug the connector and plug in our T1 harness one side into the factory connector and the other on to the taillight connector. more

Alright, today on this 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt, we are going to install part number 118407 from Tow Ready. This is their T-One wiring connector. What this part does is it fits behind the taillight. First off, we will go ahead and take off the carpet itself, that is above the spare tire. Get that out of the way. Then you can start working on the side panels. We will unscrew these anchor points. And this is going to be our first connection point right here. Let us go over to the other side and repeat the same process on the passenger side. 0:35 more
